We traveled five and a half hours north to the mountains, to the glorious white snow and jagged peaks of Mammoth Lakes, on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada.<BR/><BR/>Also, an hour and a half, two hours north, at Big Bear, there is snow and snowboarding.
