Go see this movie if you haven't already. It's wonderful. This is a writer's movie. Great acting, moving, inventive. That's all I'm going to say. No spoilers here. Just go see it so we can talk.
It's on my list, although today we went to see Babel (nothing González Iñárritu has done since has measured up to Amores Perros, but it was still quite good).
Afterwards, I hung out in Borders while my wife was at the Container Store looking for something to keep Q-Tips and cotton balls in (she'll examine every object in the store given a chance, so I chose to absent myself). I noticed a new-ish book (it's apparently been out since August), called Reading Like a Writer by Francine Prose and it struck me that she'd be a great guest for the radio show.
Francine Prose would be a great guest for Writers on Writing. I head an interview with her from Michael Krasny of KQED's Forum (available via podcast). The conversation was wonderful and motivated me to go buy the book.

Actually, I've been in touch with her publicist about getting her on the show. (Prose was on a few years back with one of her books.)
