None of my "issues" are on this exhaustive list, so I guess I can still consider writing a memoir at some point. Too bad my mother already got into my head and asked me to "please, never write a memoir." Now if I can only get her out of there...
There's always room for one more. Agents and editors have told me that if the voice and writing are sublime, and if they laugh out loud or cry real tears, they'll often buy it.
Great list! I also teach (and have written 2 memoirs) memoir classes--but you know, there's always room for one more--if it's done well and with heart.
