Al Qaeda endorses McCain

You don't hear McCain talking about this endorsement.

I'm seriously hoping that your blog will return to its focus on writing and the writing process after the election.

Or maybe I've entirely misunderstood the purpose of this blog.

As much as I try to avoid letting political persuasion affect who I learn from, it is getting increasingly more difficult.

Hoping to find more writing soon.

These are intensely political days, Magnolia, and important days. Hard to ignore it and sorry you're unhappy. Check out the links on the side of my blog for other writerly sites; lots of good ones there. As you know if you've been following this blog for any length of time, mostly it's about writing and sometimes it's more personal. Right now it's more personal.

It is of course your blog Barbara and I completely understand that at times it is personal.

I am weary of this election, more so than any other in my voting lifetime of approximately 35 years.

Neither candidate is the messiah in my view, but it seems that many disagree with me.

As someone said recently......"we will get the president we deserve"

And so, I suppose we will.

I will check back at a less volatile time politically and hopefully be able to gleen more of your writing expertise from the blog.

Have a good day.

I am not Magnolia. When I'm too cowardly to use my own initial I then use various names like Lancelot or Persimmon but never once have I used or do I intend to use "Magnolia".
I will, of course, accept your apology.
