Hi Barbara, I saw you speak at a Writer's Conference in San Diego (I think it was last year), and I wanted to share with you a great story that relates to your article about only needing one yes. I had a one-on-one with an editor at the conference, and she liked my work! She asked for the whole manuscript, and the long and short of it is that I got a 2-book deal from Berkley Jam, an imprint of Penguin. I am so excited, and the process has been amazing. It's a story you just think never really happens to anyone, but it did happen to me. My first novel, QUEEN GEEK SOCIAL CLUB, has a publishing date of September 5! I'm so excited to write that!
