Ooh, shelving by color! I could have a pretty hefty orange shelf courtesy of all the 80s-vintage Penguin paperbacks I have.
I just remembered overhearing a conversation in a bookstall in Oxford between the bookseller and a customer who was only interested in the orange-spined penguins (this was the time when Penguin was making the transition to the pale green spines that they use now).

Aren't you sweet to think of Pen on Fire? It's more yellow than green. But hey, I'll do a shot of my yellow shelf, straightaway.
