That's enough about me; what do you think about me?

I have at least one blog reader who is a terror at letting me know when it's time to post again or berates me (lovingly, I hope!) for letting too many days go by without posting.

So here's something new, and hopefully not too terribly self-promoting: an interview by Sujatha Samy-Randy, a journalism student from France. We talked recently by telephone. Listening to her lovely French accent and soft timbre, I very much wanted to go to Europe--again.

You should come here, she said. You would like it.

I might never leave, I said.

I enjoyed reading the interview. And it wasn't 'too self-promoting'. Although I'm sorry you still have writing struggles, I appreciate your honesty about them. As an unknown slogging her way through her second novel, it's comforting in a way to know someone like yourself, a successful, published writer, still fights her way through writing projects. Thanks for sharing! Out of curiosity, does it bother you that some people seem to 'demand' your constant attention to the blog?

Well, I did say a long time ago I'd post to the blog at least twice a week, so I suppose he has a right.

Glad it's not too self-promoting. Actually, I didn't read it all. It's just very hard reading about myself. Hope it was good..... The interviewer was no nice.
